What the service is
Santa Clarita Gate Installation is a referral service. When you call or send the request form, you are put in touch with one licensed gate installer. This site is no contractor and does no gate work, and we are not the City of Santa Clarita or any government office.
The installer and the work
The installer is an independent business. Any quote, contract, price, schedule, permit, warranty or payment is between you and the installer, not with this site. We do not guarantee that an installer will take your job, what they will charge, when they can start or how the work turns out. Before you sign, ask the installer for their license details, a written quote and proof of insurance, and check the license with the California Contractors State License Board.
The code summaries
Pages on this site summarize parts of the Santa Clarita Municipal Code and link to the sections they use. The summaries are general information, not legal advice, and they are not a decision by the city. Codes change; the city amended its oak tree rules in 2026, for example, and the online code can lag behind. Some addresses with a Santa Clarita mailing address are in unincorporated Los Angeles County and follow county rules instead. Before any work starts, confirm the rules for your address with the city's Planning Division and Building and Safety, or with the county.
Prices
This site prints no price ranges. The pages explain what moves the cost of a gate instead. The one dollar figure, the legal cap on a down payment, is California law, with the section linked beside it. Only the installer can price your job, after seeing it.
Drawings and renderings
Drawings on this site are diagrams, not to scale, made to explain a rule or a part. Images labeled "Rendering" are computer generated illustrations of a type of gate. They are not photographs of a real property or of work done by the installer.
Using the site
Please give accurate details on the request form and only send photos you have the right to share. Do not use the form to send spam, harmful files or anything unlawful. How we handle what you send is set out in the privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Links to the municipal code and other outside sites are there for reference. We do not run those sites and are not responsible for what they say or how they handle your information.
No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided as is. We check it with care, yet we do not promise that it is complete, current or free of errors. Where the law permits, we accept no liability for any loss that comes from relying on the site or from work arranged through it.
